This page explains what information Painted Post Forestry Mulching ("we," "us," "our") collects about you when you visit paintedpostforestrymulching.com or contact us through our forms, what we do with that information, and how you can ask us to delete it. If anything here is unclear, please contact us using the information at the bottom of this page.
1. What we collect
When you submit a quote request through our website, Facebook, or Google Ads lead form, we collect:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- The ZIP code of the property you're asking us to quote
- The approximate acreage you want cleared
- The type of project (building lot, pasture, trail, fence line, etc.)
- Any optional notes you choose to include
When you visit our website, our analytics and advertising tools (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) automatically collect:
- Your IP address and approximate location (city or region level)
- Your device and browser type
- Pages you visit on our site and how long you spend on each
- Whether you submitted a form (we record the event, not the form contents, through these tools)
- How you arrived at our site (search, ad, direct link, social, etc.)
2. How we use it
We use your contact information to respond to your quote request — that's the whole point of you sending it to us. We may also use it to follow up on a job we've quoted, or to send you occasional updates about our services if you've worked with us before.
We use website analytics to understand which of our pages and ads are working, so we can spend our marketing budget on the things that actually reach people who need forestry mulching, and stop spending on things that don't.
We will not sell your contact information to third parties. We will not share it with other contractors or referral services without your explicit permission.
3. Who else sees it
Your information is processed by the following third parties as part of running our website and ads:
- Google — for Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Google Sheets (where we store lead submissions). Subject to Google's privacy policy.
- Meta (Facebook / Instagram) — for Meta Pixel and Meta Lead Ads. Subject to Meta's privacy policy.
- Vercel — our website hosting provider. Subject to Vercel's privacy policy.
These providers handle data on our behalf. We don't give them permission to use your information for purposes other than what's necessary to run our site and ads.
4. Cookies and tracking
Our site uses cookies and similar technologies (the Meta Pixel, Google Analytics tags) to understand how visitors interact with the site and to measure the performance of our ads. You can disable these in your browser settings; the site will still work, you'll just see less-personalized ads from us elsewhere on the web.
5. How long we keep it
Quote request contact information is kept for as long as you might reasonably want a quote followed up on — typically 12 months after submission. If you become a customer, we keep your contact information as part of our business records, in line with normal small-business recordkeeping practice. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).
6. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we have about you
- Correct any of that information
- Delete any of that information
- Stop using your information for marketing follow-up
To do any of these, email us at max_2457@icloud.com with the subject line "Privacy request" and tell us what you want. We'll respond within 30 days.
If you're in California, the EU, or another jurisdiction with specific privacy laws (CCPA, GDPR, etc.), those laws may give you additional rights. Please contact us and we'll work with you to honor them.
7. Children
Our services are not directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have information from a minor, please contact us and we'll delete it.
8. Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your information — encrypted connections (HTTPS) on our site, access controls on the systems where we store leads, and reputable third-party providers. That said, no system is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee that no breach will ever happen. If one does, we'll notify you in line with applicable law.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. If you've given us your email and the change materially affects how we handle your information, we'll let you know directly.
